Calibrating Mind to See Waste

The flagship event of Institute of Lean Management (ILM), the International Lean Transformation Summit 2018 will be held on 22 nd and 23 rd May 2018 at the Grand Ballroom – Galadari Hotel Colombo, Sri Lanka. International Lean Transformation Summit 2018 is organized under the theme of ‘Calibrating Mind to See Waste’. International presenters from UK, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, India and Sri Lanka will share their plenaries and case studies related to lean transformation on multidisciplinary areas.

Key Objectives

  • Inspire lean community in Sri Lanka providing knowledge and real world case studies bringing local and foreign lean experts together to share best practices on lean management
  • Expanding Sri Lankan lean network
  • Providing a variety of learning opportunities – including pre-Summit workshops on leading edge topics, keynote talks, interactive learning sessions and panel discussions.
  • Strengthening the National Productivity by raising consciousness of the latest developments in lean thinking and practice, by dealing with challenges of a continuing lean journey in a highly competitive global industry obsessed with low-cost operations.
